South Jersey Land & Water Trust Board of Trustees

The South Jersey Land & Water Trust has been very fortunate to have the group of board members we do, who always think and act with SJLWT’s best interests in mind.

Janet Eisenhauer, President
Janet is a former Project Manager with the New Jersey Conservation Foundation and a founding member of the South Jersey Land Trust, and thus a founding member of the South Jersey Land & Water Trust after its merger with the Federation of Gloucester County Watersheds.

Patrick Mulligan, Vice President of Water Protection
Pat has retired after a career as the Acting Director of a nonprofit housing organization in Camden. He is active in the community, including serving on his local Environmental Commission.

William Fleming, Treasurer
William is an engineer with Churchill Consulting and an elected Councilman in Woodbury, as well as a former Board Member and President of the Woodbury Board of Education.

Richard Dilks, Trustee
Rich has been involved with the South Jersey Land & Water Trust since 2010, when the Friends of Maple Ridge citizens group partnered with SJLWT to preserve the former Maple Ridge golf course. As of November 2015, that property has been officially preserved as state nature preserve, the first of its kind in Gloucester County! Rich also serves on the Wenonah Environmental Commission, the Gloucester County Nature Club and as a former chairman of the East Coast Vulture Festival.

Suzanne McCarthy, Trustee
Suzanne is a retired Environmental Planner and Educator with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission who serves as the chair of her municipality’s Environmental Commission. She was a founder of the Federation of Gloucester County Watersheds, and thus a founding member of the South Jersey Land & Water Trust. She is a member of the Franklin Township Agricultural Advisory Committee and an adjunct professor at Rowan University.

Francis Rapa, Trustee
Fran serves the community in several ways, including as the NJ Conservation Federation Regional Manager of the Delaware Bay Watershed, his local Environmental Commission and the Woodstown Planning Board and Open Space Committee.

Cheryl Reardon, Trustee
Cheryl is the South Jersey Bayshore Project Director at the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC),  and a founder of the Concerned Pilesgrove Residents grassroots group.

Rita Roedig, Trustee
Rita is a retired Special Needs teacher who is very active on SJLWT’s Development Committee.

Jim Rosenthal, Trustee
Jim is a retired Computer Systems Consultant. Jim volunteers as a nature preserve monitor in southern New Jersey, he is on the President’s Advisory Council of the Natural Lands Trust in southeastern PA/southern NJ, and is a member of the Cherry Hill Township Environmental Board.

Phyllis Sauler, Trustee
Phyllis owns a private Massage Therapy business and was a founding member of the grassroots group Concerned Pilesgrove Residents.

Wayne C. Streitz, Trustee
Wayne is an attorney who volunteers his time for SJLWT and represents many land conservation organizations.

Clay Sutton, Emeritus
Clay is a Wildlife Biologist, freelance writer and lecturer. He is the author or co-author of several wildlife guides.
