Benefits of Becoming an SJLWT Intern
Gain valuable and hands-on experience in the environmental field. As an intern, you'll get to participate in a variety of projects. You may design environmental education programs, head into a creek to test the water, or lead a cleanup. Our past interns have gone on to work at such places as Audubon, the NJDEP, and the American Littoral Society.
Make connections with environmental professionals. At SJLWT, you'll work with environmental professionals from many different backgrounds. Our organization's staff and partners are individuals who have worked in land preservation, research, environmental education, and more.
Improve the health of your local environment. Whatever projects you take on will help to clean habitats and water, protect our land, or educate people in the community about the importance of preserving our natural resources.
