You undoubtedly remember the wonderful experiences you have had in volunteering and supporting the Trust over the past several years. Those experiences have allowed the Trust to preserve over 2,100 acres and protect waterways throughout South Jersey, and we hope they have proven to be just as valuable to you. It takes significant support to make these accomplishments possible.
You can help yourself, your family and South Jersey Land & Water Trust by creating an estate plan that takes care of all three. Sadly, more than half of all Americans do not have a valid, up-to-date will. As a result, they forfeit the right to distribute their property as they see fit, expose their families to great expense, and delay or lose the opportunity to further support organizations like South Jersey Land & Water Trust.
By continuing your support for the South Jersey Land & Water Trust through a bequest in your estate plan, you will be able to help yourself through a sense of peace of mind, help your family by supporting preservation efforts for future generations, and help the South Jersey Land & Water Trust with the financial support needed to continue its ongoing programs.
SJLWT is currently taking on an endeavor of building up the financial capacity of the Trust: you can be an important part of this endeavor by naming South Jersey Land & Water Trust in your will.
If you do not have a will, please consider having one drafted. If you do have a will, please consider updating it and naming South Jersey Land & Water Trust in it. Your generosity and commitment to the Trust will help ensure the success of South Jersey Land & Water Trust far into the future. If you have any questions or comments about this request, please call Christine Nolan at (856) 881-2269.
Remember, taking the time now to give through your estate will continue a lifetime of support to the organizations you love.
